Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of destination image and memorable tourism experiences (MTEs) on the return intention of domestic tourists in Mexico. Focusing on the case of Cholula, Puebla-a town recognized for its cultural and historical heritage- the study employs a Pearson correlation model to examine the relationships among the variables. The results indicate that both destination image and MTEs significantly impact tourists' decision to revisit the destination. Statistically significant correlations provide evidence of the key factors that motivate tourist to return to this location.
